SHORT ITINERARY
Day 1: Delhi Arrival
Upon your arrival at New Delhi International Airport, you will be met by a driver holding your name plate at exit gate number 5. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel to check in and rest.
If time permits in the evening, you have the optional tour of Akshardham Temple. This temple is known for its impressive architecture, cultural exhibits, and spiritual atmosphere, offering a unique blend of religious and cultural experiences. Please note that Akshardham Temple is closed every Monday, and it is important to leave your mobile phones and electronics in the car as they are not allowed inside the temple premises.
After your visit, you will return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi Tour & Shopping
Today after breakfast, you will embark on a tour of Delhi. You will drive past two of the city’s most iconic landmarks. The India Gate is a prominent war memorial commemorating Indian soldiers who died in various wars, serving as an iconic landmark for both locals and tourists.
You will also get a drive-past view of the magnificent Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, an architectural marvel that showcases a blend of British and Indian design.
Your afternoon will be dedicated to a shopping excursion at Sarojini Nagar Market, a bustling hub in South Delhi. This market is famous for its export surplus fashion and heavily discounted designer knockoffs. Be prepared to bargain hard to secure the best deals on trendy clothing, footwear, and accessories. It is best to visit on a weekday morning to avoid crowds and to carry cash for smaller vendors. Afterward, you will return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: Delhi Drive to Rishikesh/Haridwar (approx. 240 km / 6-7 hours)
After breakfast, you will check out of your Delhi hotel and begin your scenic drive to Rishikesh. The journey is approximately 240 kilometers and will take around 6 to 7 hours. Upon arrival, your first stop will be Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh. This is one of the largest ashrams in the region, situated on the banks of the holy Ganga. It serves as a spiritual haven with a clean and sacred atmosphere. The ashram offers daily activities like yoga, meditation, and the world-renowned Ganga Aarti. It also provides Ayurvedic treatments and welcomes all visitors.
Following your visit to Rishikesh, you will proceed to Haridwar to witness the captivating Har Ki Pauri Ganga Aarti. This ritual is a popular pilgrimage site due to its spiritual significance and the vibrant atmosphere. Pilgrims flock here to take holy dips and experience the powerful ceremony. You will then check in and stay overnight at a hotel in Haridwar.
Day 4: Haridwar to Mathura & Vrindavan Tour (360 km / 6.5 hours)
Today after breakfast, you will check out of your Haridwar hotel and begin a long drive of approximately 360 kilometers, which takes around 6.5 hours, to the twin cities of Mathura and Vrindavan. Your first visit will be to the
Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura. This site holds immense significance for Hindus as it is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Devotees visit to connect with their faith and experience the divine energy of the place. Your journey will continue to Vrindavan to visit
Prem Mandir, a stunning white marble temple dedicated to Radha Krishna and Sita Ram. Its exquisite architecture and intricate carvings make it a true marvel. The temple is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is renowned for its mesmerizing evening musical fountain and light show, offering a serene atmosphere for all visitors. You will also visit the
Shri Banke Bihari Temple, one of the most revered temples dedicated to Lord Krishna, known for its unique idol and the unusual tradition of drawing curtains every few minutes to avoid an uninterrupted darshan. No bells are rung here to avoid disturbing the childlike deity. Afterward, you will proceed to Mathura for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5: Mathura to Prayagraj (550 km / 10 hours)
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Mathura and begin the longest leg of your journey with a long drive to Prayagraj. The distance is approximately 550 kilometers, and the journey can take up to 10 hours. The day is primarily dedicated to travel, allowing you to witness the changing landscapes of Uttar Pradesh. Upon arrival in Prayagraj, you will check into your pre-booked hotel to relax and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 6: Prayagraj to Varanasi (approx. 120 km / 3 hours)
After an early breakfast, you will check out of your hotel in Prayagraj. Your first visit of the day will be to Triveni Sangam, the highly revered confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. This is a significant site for Hindu pilgrims, who believe that taking a holy dip here can wash away sins and grant salvation. Afterward, you will drive to Varanasi, a journey of approximately 120 kilometers that takes about 3 hours.
Upon arrival, you will check in to your pre-booked hotel. In the evening, you will visit the famous Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti. This is a captivating ritual with fire-lit lamps, chanting, and hymns, symbolizing devotion. The ghat is known for its vibrant and lively atmosphere, making the ceremony a spiritual and visual delight.
After the aarti, you will head back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 7: Varanasi Exploration
Today after breakfast, you will embark on a full day of exploration in the divine city of Varanasi. Your tour includes a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a significant pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, believed to offer spiritual upliftment and liberation. Next, you will visit Sarnath, which holds immense importance for Buddhists as it is believed to be the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Sarnath is open from sunrise to sunset. You will also visit Banaras Hindu University (BHU), a premier research university and one of Asia's largest residential universities. BHU’s sprawling campus is a hub of learning and culture, featuring iconic landmarks like the New Vishwanath Temple. You will return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 8: Varanasi to Ayodhya (approx. 220 km / 5 hours)
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Varanasi and begin your drive back to Ayodhya. The journey is approximately 220 kilometers and will take around 5 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and take some rest. The evening is dedicated to visiting some of Ayodhya's most sacred sites.
You will visit Ram Ki Paidi, a series of sacred ghats along the Sarayu River where a holy dip is believed to cleanse sins. These ghats provide a spectacular landscape, especially when illuminated during festivals. You will also visit Hanuman Garhi, a significant temple where Lord Hanuman is believed to have resided to protect the birthplace of Lord Rama. It is customary for devotees to visit this temple before worshipping Lord Rama. Finally, you will visit the main
Ram Temple, a major pilgrimage site for Hindus, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama.
You will stay overnight at a hotel in Ayodhya.
Day 9: Ayodhya to Agra (approx. 530 km / 9-10 hours)
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel in Ayodhya and begin a long road journey to Agra. The drive is approximately 530 kilometers and can take between 9 to 10 hours. The day is primarily dedicated to travel, allowing you to relax and enjoy the changing scenery. Upon your arrival in Agra, you will check in to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 10: Agra to Jaipur (approx. 240 km / 5-6 hours)
Today, you will have a very early start before sunrise to visit the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a globally recognized symbol of love, beauty, and architectural grandeur. This marble mausoleum was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is open from sunrise to sunset and is closed every Friday. After exploring the Taj Mahal, you will return to your hotel for breakfast and check out. You will then visit
Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the former imperial city of the Mughal rulers. The fort is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and offers breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal. The Agra Fort is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Day 11: Jaipur City Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day tour of Jaipur. Your first stop will be the majestic
Amber Fort, located on a hill. Its imposing structures of red sandstone and white marble are a testament to the skill of the artisans. The fort's stunning architecture and rich history make it a captivating sight. Amber Fort is open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will then visit
Jal Mahal, a stunning palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, known for its unique floating appearance and blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The palace is viewable from the outside. Next, you will explore the
City Palace, whose museums display royal costumes, weaponry, and manuscripts, providing a comprehensive overview of the region's history. The City Palace is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will also visit
Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing a unique collection of astronomical instruments, which is open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The tour will also include a stop at the iconic
Hawa Mahal, or "Palace of Winds," known for its unique design that allowed royal ladies to observe the city without being seen. Hawa Mahal is open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The evening is free for local shopping in the Pink City area near Hawa Mahal. You will stay overnight in Jaipur.
Day 12: Jaipur to Delhi (approx. 270 km / 5-6 hours)
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Jaipur and drive to Delhi. The journey is approximately 270 kilometers and takes around 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will visit some of Delhi’s major tourist places.
The Qutub Minar is a magnificent example of Indo-Islamic architecture, showcasing intricate carvings and a fusion of styles. It is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
You will also visit the Lotus Temple, a Baha'i House of Worship known for its distinctive lotus-like architectural design, open to all faiths for prayer and meditation. The Lotus Temple is closed every Monday.
Your tour may also include a visit to Saket Select Citywalk Mall (If time permits), a modern and upscale shopping mall offering a wide range of international and Indian brands for some leisure time. Afterward, you will head back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 13: Delhi Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your comprehensive tour.
