To fully enjoy and complete this short trip without feeling rushed, strategic timing is crucial. With significant travel distances between Delhi and Jim Corbett (over 250 km) and later from Nainital back to Delhi (over 300 km), an early morning arrival on your first day is a must. This allows you to check in and have enough time for the essential evening safari. Similarly, a late evening or night departure on your last day is vital, ensuring you can comfortably explore the lakes of Nainital and complete the long journey back without a rush. This approach maximizes your sightseeing time and guarantees a more relaxed and fulfilling experience.
Day 1: Delhi to Jim Corbett National Park
Make your arriving plan option1: Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from Delhi airport or train station. From there, you will embark on a scenic drive to Jim Corbett National Park, a journey of approximately 250 kilometers that typically takes around 6-7 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your resort and have some time to relax. The afternoon will be dedicated to your first wildlife experience.
Make your arriving plan option2: Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from ‘Ramnagar Train station’ From there, you will embark on a scenic drive to Jim Corbett National Park, a journey of approximately 4 kilometers that typically takes around 15-20 Minutes. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel/resort and have some time to relax. The afternoon will be dedicated to your first wildlife experience for Jungle Safari but better to keep it in the afternoon (If incase this is not possible which is on subject to availability slots always you can do it next day early morning before leave to Nainital)
Jim Corbett National Park is India’s first national park and a true paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is named after the legendary hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett. The park is renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, including a healthy population of tigers, elephants, and hundreds of species of birds. The evening safari provides an excellent opportunity to explore the park's dense forests and grasslands and spot magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Park timings for safaris vary by zone, but the evening safari generally takes place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Please note that the park's core zones remain closed during the monsoon season from mid-June to mid-November.
After the safari, you will return to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay in Corbett.

Day 2: Morning Safari and Drive to Nainital
Your day will begin before sunrise with an exciting morning safari into the wilderness of Jim Corbett National Park. The morning hours are often the best time for wildlife sightings, as animals are most active during this cooler part of the day. A trained guide will accompany you in a jeep to navigate through the park's different zones, helping you to spot the elusive tiger and other fascinating creatures. The morning safari slot is typically from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
After the safari, you will return to the hotel for breakfast, check out, and begin your drive to Nainital, a journey of approximately 65 kilometers that takes around 2-3 hours through winding hill roads. Have enjoy lunch en-route
Upon arrival in Nainital, you will check into your hotel. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the serene and picturesque heart of the city. Naini Lake is a stunning crescent-shaped natural freshwater body. Boating on the emerald green waters of the lake is an incredibly peaceful experience, with a backdrop of green hills and charming cottages. You can opt for a rowboat or a paddleboat to explore the lake at your own pace. The lake is generally open from sunrise to sunset.
After your time at the lake, you can take a leisurely stroll along the famous Mall Road. This bustling promenade runs parallel to the lake and is the central hub of activity in Nainital. Lined with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, Mall Road is perfect for shopping for local handicrafts, enjoying a hot cup of tea, or simply soaking in the lively atmosphere while enjoying the views of the lake. The shops are generally open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Day 3: Nainital Lake Tour and Drive to Delhi
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and spend the morning exploring the beautiful surrounding lakes of Nainital before beginning your return journey. The lake tour is a delightful way to experience the scenic beauty of the region.
Bhimtal Lake is a tranquil lake located about 22 kilometers from Nainital. It is the largest lake in the Nainital district and is famous for its serene environment and a small island in the center with a temple. It offers excellent opportunities for boating, and the surrounding area is perfect for nature walks and bird watching. The lake is open for boating from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Naukuchiatal, or the 'lake of nine corners,' is another beautiful lake situated approximately 26 kilometers from Nainital. This lake is known for its mystical charm and is said to be the deepest of all the lakes in the region. The peaceful surroundings and lush greenery make it an ideal spot for boating and unwinding. It is also believed that a person can achieve nirvana by catching a glimpse of all nine corners of the lake. Boating is available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
After visiting these stunning lakes, you will begin your final drive back to Delhi as a first option and secondary drop you at Ramnagar Train station,
