Day 1: Arrival and Exploration of New Delhi's Heritage

Upon your morning arrival at Delhi airport or train station, you will be met by our company driver and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Please note that hotel check-in time is typically at 14:00 Hrs. You can keep your luggage in the hotel's storage room after the check-in formalities are complete. Your tour of Delhi will then begin, starting with the city's unique historical and architectural gems.

Agrasen ki Baoli is an ancient stepwell with 108 steps that descend into a deep, quiet space. It is a protected monument known for its unique architecture and serene atmosphere, offering a glimpse into the city's historical water management systems. This hidden gem, nestled in the heart of Connaught Place, provides a tranquil escape from the bustling city. It is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

India Gate is a magnificent war memorial that stands as a tribute to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. The towering archway, situated in the center of a large, lush green lawn, is a symbol of national pride. The monument is beautifully floodlit at night, and the surrounding area is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to relax and enjoy the evening. India Gate is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, is an architectural masterpiece designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. Its grandeur and scale are impressive, showcasing a blend of Indian and Western architectural styles. While the interior is accessible through pre-booked tours, visitors can admire the magnificent exterior and its well-manicured gardens. Rashtrapati Bhawan is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and is closed on Mondays.

Lodhi Garden is a historical park that houses the tombs of Sayyid and Lodhi dynasty rulers. This urban park seamlessly blends nature and heritage, with ancient domes and structures scattered amidst expansive green lawns. It is a popular spot for morning walks, picnics, and for history enthusiasts to explore the well-preserved monuments like Mohammed Shah's Tomb and the Bara Gumbad. The garden is open daily from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Lotus Temple is a modern architectural marvel and a Baháʼí House of Worship, known for its unique lotus flower shape. The temple is made of pure white marble and is open to people of all faiths, providing a tranquil space for meditation and prayer. Its design, with nine pools of water surrounding the central structure, symbolizes purity and peace. The temple is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and remains closed on Mondays.

Qutab Minar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a towering minaret that marks the beginning of Muslim rule in India. The 73-meter-high structure, with its intricate carvings and verses from the Quran, is a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture. The complex also includes other historically significant monuments, such as the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the Iron Pillar. It is open daily from sunrise to sunset. 

After your visit, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi after having dinner at your leisure.

Day 2: A Journey to Agra and Back (235 Km/3-4 Hours’ drive one-way)

After a morning breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Agra. Your first stop will be the majestic Akshardham Temple in Delhi, a grand spiritual complex that showcases 10,000 years of Indian culture, art, and wisdom. This architectural wonder is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan and features intricate carvings, exhibitions, a cultural boat ride, and a spectacular musical fountain show. Please note that the temple is closed on Mondays, and the exhibitions and shows have specific timings, so planning your visit is essential. The temple itself is open from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM from Tuesday to Sunday.
Afterward, you will continue your drive to Agra, having lunch en-route. Upon arrival, your tour will begin with the 

Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone fort that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. This fortified city, with its magnificent palaces, courtyards, and mosques, is a testament to the power and opulence of the Mughal Empire. It offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal from its various vantage points. The fort is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
The highlight of your day will be the sunset visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This breathtaking white marble mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The changing hues of the sky at sunset cast a magical glow on the monument, making it an unforgettable experience. The Taj Mahal is open from sunrise to sunset every day, except on Fridays, when it is closed for general viewing. 

After your mesmerizing visit, you will begin your drive back to Delhi. You can have dinner on the way or in Delhi before returning to your hotel for another overnight stay.

Day 3: Old Delhi and Departure

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and start your final day of sightseeing, focusing on the historical and cultural heart of Delhi.

Sunder Nursery is an urban heritage park located near Humayun's Tomb. It is a tranquil oasis with beautifully manicured gardens, historical monuments, and a rich biodiversity. The park is a perfect blend of nature and history, offering a peaceful environment for a leisurely stroll. It is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in the summer (April-September) and from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the winter (October-March).

Majnu Ka Tila, also known as Delhi's "Little Tibet," is a vibrant Tibetan colony in North Delhi. It is a hub of Tibetan culture, with narrow lanes filled with monasteries, shops selling traditional handicrafts, and cafes serving authentic Tibetan cuisine. This unique settlement offers a glimpse into a different cultural world right within the city. Most shops and cafes are generally open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Jama Masjid is one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in India, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The mosque's grand courtyard can accommodate thousands of devotees, and its towering minarets offer a panoramic view of Old Delhi. The intricate architecture and serene atmosphere make it a significant religious and historical site. The mosque is open daily from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Please be mindful of prayer timings and dress code when visiting.

Red Fort, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a massive red sandstone fort that was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. This iconic fortress symbolizes the rich history and architectural prowess of the Mughal era. The fort houses several palaces, public halls, and gardens within its walls. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and is closed on Mondays. 

After your visit to the Red Fort, you will be transferred to the train station or airport for your departure, marking the end of your memorable trip.
