· Dining: For fresh seafood, eat at one of the beach shacks along Lighthouse Beach. You can often choose your fish directly and have it prepared to your liking.
· Souvenirs: Look for local handicrafts made from wood, coir, and coconut shells. These make for authentic keepsakes.
· Sunset Viewing: While the main beach is popular for sunset, consider the Vattakottai Fort for a unique, less crowded experience with panoramic sea views.

· Shopping: Kanyakumari is famous for its shell crafts. You can find a variety of items from small trinkets to larger decorative pieces.
· Temple Visit: If you plan to visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, be aware of the strict dress code and visiting hours. It's best to go in the early morning (around 5:00 am to 6:00 am) to avoid the long queues. Remember that only Hindus are allowed inside.
