SHORT ITINERARY
Day 1: Delhi – Shimla (Approx. 360 km / 8–9 hrs)
Pick up from Delhi Airport/Railway Station between 9–11 am. Drive to Shimla, once the summer capital of British India, now a charming hill town known for colonial architecture and pine-covered hills. Evening free to walk on Mall Road & Ridge, the heart of Shimla’s culture and shopping. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla & Kufri Sightseeing
Kufri (16 km / 45 mins): A hill station famous for winter sports, horse rides, Himalayan Nature Park, and panoramic Himalayan views. Jakhoo Temple: Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located atop Jakhoo Hill, the highest point in Shimla. Christ Church & Ridge: The landmark church built in 1857, symbol of Shimla’s colonial past. The Ridge is an open space for cultural activities. Stroll around Scandal Point & Mall Road, lined with shops and cafés. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 3: Shimla – Manali (Approx. 250 km / 7–8 hrs)
Scenic drive through Sundernagar Lake (a peaceful spot built on the Beas–Satluj link canal) and Pandoh Dam, an engineering marvel on the Beas River. Pass through Kullu Valley, famous for apple orchards, sprawling meadows, and shawl factories. Evening arrival in Manali, nestled in the Beas Valley with a backdrop of snow-capped peaks. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing
Hadimba Devi Temple: A 16th-century wooden temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, surrounded by deodar forest. Manu Temple: Dedicated to sage Manu, believed to be the creator of human life according to Hindu mythology. Vashisht Hot Springs: Famous for natural sulphur springs believed to have healing properties. Explore Old Manali & Mall Road for cafés, shopping, and a vibrant mountain vibe. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 5: Solang Valley / Rohtang Pass Excursion
Solang Valley (13 km): Popular for adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing, skiing (in winter), and ATV rides with breathtaking views of glaciers. Rohtang Pass (51 km / 2–3 hrs one way): One of the highest mountain passes (3,978 m), offering snow play, trekking, and spectacular Himalayan views (permit & weather dependent). Return to Manali for leisure evening. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 6: Manali – Kullu – Manikaran – Delhi (Approx. 570 km / 14–15 hrs)
Drive to Kullu, known as the "Valley of Gods," famous for river rafting, apple orchards, and woollen handicrafts. Continue to Manikaran Sahib (45 km from Kullu): A revered Sikh pilgrimage with hot water springs, a Gurudwara, and legends of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. After darshan, drive to Delhi for evening/night drop at Airport or Railway Station.
