SHORT ITINERARY
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (220 km / 7–8 hrs)
Pickup from Haridwar in the morning and begin your journey through the scenic Shivalik ranges towards Barkot. On the way, enjoy views of the Yamuna valley and pine forests. Barkot is a quiet hill town known as the base for the Yamunotri Dham. On arrival, check into your hotel and rest.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri Excursion – Barkot (90 km drive + 6 km trek one way)
Drive early to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the trek. Begin a 6 km trek (pony/palki options available) to reach Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Take a holy dip in Jamunabai Kund and cook rice in the hot spring “Surya Kund,” considered auspicious. Attend darshan at the temple before trekking back to Janki Chatti and driving to Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4–5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi, a spiritual town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. En route, enjoy the scenic mountain roads and river valleys. On arrival, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the most revered shrines in the region. Evening free by the riverside.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Excursion (100 km one way)
Early morning drive along the Bhagirathi River valley to Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. En route, visit Gangnani hot springs and the beautiful Harsil Valley, famous for apple orchards and mountain views. Take a holy dip in the icy waters of the Bhagirathi before darshan at the temple. Return drive to Uttarkashi by evening.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8–9 hrs)
A long but scenic drive along river valleys and mountain villages. Pass through Tilwara and Agastyamuni, known for their religious significance. The road follows the Mandakini River, offering stunning Himalayan views. On arrival at Guptkashi, check into your hotel and rest.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Drive + Trek/Helicopter)
Drive to Gaurikund (30 km), the base for Kedarnath trek. Start your 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple (pony, palki, or helicopter options available). On arrival, check into a guesthouse or government camp. In the evening, attend the Kedarnath Temple Aarti, a deeply spiritual experience surrounded by snow-clad peaks.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After early morning darshan at Kedarnath, trek back to Gaurikund. Drive to Guptkashi and relax after the long journey. The town holds mythological significance, said to be where Lord Shiva hid from the Pandavas.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath (210 km / 8 hrs)
Drive through mountain roads via Joshimath, a spiritual hub and winter seat of Badrinath. On arrival at Badrinath, visit Tapt Kund (hot spring) and Narad Kund, then proceed to Badrinath Temple for darshan. In the evening, attend the enchanting Aarti at the temple.

Day 9: Badrinath – Mana Village – Rudraprayag (160 km / 5–6 hrs)
In the morning, visit Mana Village, the last inhabited village of India near the Indo-Tibetan border. Attractions here include Vyas Gufa and Bheem Pul over the Saraswati River. Later, drive to Rudraprayag, famous for the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers.

Day 10: Rudraprayag to Haridwar (160 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back towards Haridwar. En route, stop at Devprayag Sangam, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the holy Ganga. On arrival in Haridwar, drop at your hotel/railway station/airport for onward journey. Tour ends with divine blessings of Chardham.
