Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Dehradun – Drive to Mussoorie

On arrival at Dehradun airport or railway station, meet our representative and drive to Mussoorie, the “Queen of Hills.” Check in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, stroll along the famous Mall Road and enjoy the cool mountain breeze. Overnight stay in Mussoorie.


Day 2: Mussoorie Sightseeing

Explore Mussoorie’s top attractions including Kempty Falls, a popular cascading waterfall, and Gun Hill, the second-highest point offering panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Company Garden, a colorful botanical spot, and Camel’s Back Road, perfect for a peaceful walk. Don’t miss Lal Tibba, the highest point of Mussoorie, for breathtaking sunset views. Later return to the hotel and stay overnight in Mussoorie Hotel.


Day 3: Mussoorie – Drive to Kainchi Dham

After breakfast, drive towards Nainital. En route, stop at the holy Kainchi Dham Ashram, a peaceful spiritual place established by Neem Karoli Baba, attracting devotees from across the world. Continue to Nainital, the “Lake District of India.” On arrival, check in and relax. Evening free to walk around the Mall Road. Stay overnight in Kainchi Dham.


Day 4: Nainital Sightseeing

Begin your day with a visit to Naini Lake, the heart of Nainital, where you can enjoy boating. Explore Naina Devi Temple on the lakeside, followed by Snow View Point for panoramic Himalayan vistas. Other attractions include Tiffin Top (Dorothy’s Seat), Eco Cave Gardens, and Raj Bhawan. Spend the evening shopping at Tibetan Market. Stay overnight in Nainital Hotel.


Day 5: Nainital Excursions

Take a day excursion to nearby lakes such as Bhimtal, Sattal, and Naukuchiatal, each offering scenic beauty and boating opportunities. These serene lakes are surrounded by hills, making them perfect for nature walks and photography. Return to Nainital for an overnight stay.


Day 6: Nainital – Drive to Corbett National Park

After breakfast, drive to Jim Corbett National Park, India’s oldest and most famous wildlife sanctuary. Known for its Bengal tigers, elephants, and rich birdlife, the park is a paradise for nature lovers. On arrival, check in at your hotel or resort and enjoy leisure time amidst the wilderness. Evening at leisure.


Day 7: Corbett Safari & Drive to Rishikesh

Early morning enjoy a thrilling jeep safari inside Corbett, where you might spot tigers, leopards, wild elephants, and deer. Later, drive to Rishikesh, the “Yoga Capital of the World.” In the evening, witness the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, a mesmerizing spiritual experience. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Zones of Corbett National Park

Dhikala Zone

Highlight: The most famous and largest zone, located deep inside the park.

Best For: Tiger and elephant sightings, rich wildlife, grasslands, and stunning views of the Ramganga River.

Access: Only by night stay permits (Forest Rest Houses inside the zone) or official canter safaris.

Why Visit: If you want the true jungle experience, Dhikala is unmatched.

Bijrani Zone

Highlight: Known for its dense Sal forests and wide grasslands.

Best For: High chances of spotting tigers, leopards, and elephants.

Access: Close to Ramnagar, making it one of the most popular day safari zones.

Why Visit: Ideal if you want a good balance of wildlife, accessibility, and safari thrill.

Jhirna Zone

Highlight: Open throughout the year, even during monsoon.

Best For: Sloth bears, wild elephants, deer, and occasional tiger sightings.

Access: Entry from Dhela Gate (near Ramnagar).

Why Visit: Best for off-season travelers since it’s never closed.

Dhela Zone

Highlight: A newer zone (opened in 2014) with mixed forest and grasslands.

Best For: Bird watching, elephants, and occasional tiger sightings.

Access: Same gate as Jhirna.

Why Visit: Quieter and less crowded than other zones.

Durga Devi Zone

Highlight: Situated on the northeast side, along the Ramganga River.

Best For: Birdwatchers and spotting elephants, leopards, and fishing cats.

Why Visit: Scenic drives and fewer tourists; good for nature lovers.

Garjiya Zone (newer tourism zone)

Highlight: Opened recently to ease pressure on Bijrani/Dhikala.

Best For: Moderate wildlife sightings, beautiful forest landscapes.

Why Visit: A good option if other core zones are fully booked.

Phato Zone (new zone, near Maldhan village)

Highlight: Recently added; offers jeep safari with forest and river landscapes.

Best For: Peaceful, less commercial, rising in popularity.

Which Zone is Best?

Dhikala → Best overall for wildlife, tigers, and overnight jungle experience.

Bijrani → Best day safari option (good tiger chances + near Ramnagar).

Jhirna → Best for monsoon/winter as it stays open all year.

Dhela & Durga Devi → Best for bird lovers and offbeat travelers.


Day 8: Rishikesh Sightseeing

Explore Rishikesh with visits to the iconic Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, the famous suspension bridges. Visit Neelkanth Mahadev Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located amidst lush hills. You can also try optional activities like river rafting or meditation at an ashram. Evening free along the banks of the Ganges.


Day 9: Rishikesh – Haridwar Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. Visit Har Ki Pauri, the most sacred ghat where the evening Ganga Aarti is truly unforgettable. Other places include Mansa Devi Temple (reachable by cable car), Chandi Devi Temple, and Bharat Mata Mandir. Stroll through the bustling local bazaars before returning to your hotel.


Day 10: Haridwar – Dehradun Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Dehradun airport or railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends with beautiful memories of the hills, lakes, wildlife, and holy towns of Uttarakhand.
